Protecting your privacy is important to Heale Counseling, LLC (“Heale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Statement explains what information we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and other important information about your privacy when you interact with our Online Platforms.

This Privacy Statement applies to information collected through any Online Platforms that display or link to it, and to information we receive from approved partners or other third parties. It does not apply to:
Information collected offline or through services that do not link to this Privacy Statement;
Third‑party websites or services that we do not control;
Information constituting “Protected Health Information” (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Our use and disclosure of PHI is covered by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.
Not Designed for Minors. The Online Platforms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13, nor do we deliberately market to minors. If we learn that we have received information from a child under 13, we will delete it as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We collect and combine information you provide to us with information gathered automatically when you interact with the Online Platforms.
When you create an account, fill out a form, request an appointment, sign up for newsletters, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:
Contact details (e.g., name, email, phone, postal address);

Health‑related details you enter (not rising to PHI unless you become a patient);

Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Additionally, we will not share your information with third parties nor send you text messages or emails unless you have explicitly opted in for such communications.
You can manage cookies and similar technologies by:
Adjusting browser settings to block or delete cookies;
Using browser plug‑ins or privacy settings to limit tracking;
For mobile apps, following your device’s instructions to limit ad tracking.
Blocking cookies may impair certain features of the Online Platforms. Opt‑outs are device‑ and browser‑specific.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described below:
We may share information with affiliates, which are entities under common ownership with Heale Counseling. These affiliates are bound by this Privacy Statement and are required to use the information only for authorized purposes.
We also work with service providers who help us operate the Online Platforms or provide related services. This includes companies involved in hosting, payment processing, appointment reminders, and analytics. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it solely on our behalf.
For legal and compliance purposes, we may disclose information to regulatory bodies, law enforcement authorities, or courts if required to do so by law. In such cases, we disclose only the information that is necessary to comply with the legal requirement.

Because there is no industry standard for recognizing Do Not Track browser signals, the Online Platforms currently do not respond to them.
California: California residents may request, once per year, a list of third parties to whom we have disclosed personal information for direct marketing in the prior calendar year. To make a request, email privacy@healecounseling.com with the subject “California Disclosure Information.”
EU/EEA & UK: If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information, lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us as described in § 15.
Heale is based in the United States. By using the Online Platforms, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data‑protection laws may be less stringent than those in your jurisdiction.
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We may update this Privacy Statement periodically. We will post the revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes will become effective 30 days after posting unless otherwise noted. Your continued use of the Online Platforms after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Statement.
By accessing or using the Online Platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Statement and our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Online Platforms.
We reserve the right to use information collected in accordance with this Privacy Statement as it may be amended from time to time, consistent with Applicable Law.
